Cast Marble - Hanayama Metal Puzzle

I have had this puzzle in my collection for years now! it has stumped EVERYONE! not a single soul in the entire world, including myself, has ever figured out my exact cast marble puzzle all on their own. guaranteed, you and your friends will be scratching your heads over this one!

I find the solution of this puzzle extremely elegant! I first played with it at a friend's house, loved it, asked him where I could get one like it, and he directed me to this store. I am very pleased with the puzzle except that the pieces do not move as smoothly as the one I played with at my friend's. I am hoping that maybe with time (?) it will improve.

One of the first casts I'd bought from a local book store. Initially was more fascinated with the design than I was with the solving the puzzle itself. And man, what a beauty. Reminds me of clean lines of a nice classy automobile. Elegant, smooth and sexy this little gem is so well designed it still eludes the novice no matter how persistent. Little trickster as it is, it will lead you on with a little bit of a false movement but it's not the moves that unlocks this guy! Appreciate it long as you like but don't get too enamored with its sinuous lines... for therein lies the key. Once undone if you haven't paid attention, you'll be fumbling along like you're all thumbs. Get it down though, and it's like magic! One of my favorite puzzles by far.
