Take the 3 parts apart and put it back to the original shape, that is the objective of this great metal puzzle.

A word from the designer:

"Patented in America in 1975, the somewhat swirled pieces of this puzzle by Eldon Vaughn must be disjointed and then put back together. I once found a smaller version of this puzzle about twenty years ago in America, but considered it impossible to solve at the time.

We have made a new version maintaining the difficulty of the original and licensed it for the Cast Puzzle series. This is without a doubt among the most difficult of all puzzles".

The key word is 'Twist'. Don't use too much force...the pieces should just slide apart.

This is the hardest puzzle that I had, I would say it's just hardcore, its decision it took me 2 months

Very Hard

Very challenging. I gave this puzzle to my son-in-law for a birthday gift. He timed himself and required just over three hours to separate the three pieces and he readily admitted that some of the process was pure luck. I purchased this puzzle for myself and lost track of the hours I worked on it before separating the three pieces! But that is only a small part of this ingenious puzzle. Put it back together - - ah, to get it back in it's original condition - - I GAVE UP! I turned to a YouTube video to help get it back and even then found it difficult. The Enigma is for the REAL PUZZLE expert!

Hanayamas Hardest yet!

This is by far one of the hardest puzzles hanayama makes, it is very fun and I love it! taking it apart and putting it back together is only HALF the fun! give it to friends and watch them deem it impossible!

No joke!

This is truly the gold standard for a challenging puzzle. Enigma honestly lives up to it's name. The first real challenge doesn't even involve taking it apart. It's memorizing it's natural assembly. The 3 absolutely unique pieces intertwine in a way that makes no sense. It's a puzzlers puzzle for sure as just getting the movements down is pure entertainment. Ingenious design allows it only to loop, slide, curl and release in certain orientations. Its a real twister and took me a good several weeks to disassemble and reassemble. Even picking it up again almost a year later had me challenged once again. If your a hard core puzzler, take up the challenge with Enigma. It's no joke.

Hanayama addict

I started collecting the Hanayama puzzles about 2 years ago and still on going. They are the best! Once you start be ready to get sucked into it.
